I have been drinking this almost every day and it has made a HUGE difference in the way I feel and the amount of energy I have. I adapted this drink from a recipe I got from Lauryn Evarts of The Skinny Confidential.
You will need:
Large drinking container (mason jar, water bottle, whatever)
Abscorbic Acid Powder one large scoop (Vitamin C) a vital antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals such as air pollution, cigarette smoke and ultraviolet light from the sun (warning: it IS possible to overdose on Vitamin C so ask your doctor the correct amount you should have in your diet)
MSM Powder one small scoop/teaspoon MSM improves skin/complexion, improves flexibility, detoxes the body, strengthens hair and nails, increases energy and is an anti-inflammatory
Aloe gel one-two tablespoons aloe vera decreases irritation and enhances healing and repair of ulcers in the stomach and intestines, helps to decrease inflammation in irritable bowel syndrome, colitis and other inflammatory disorders of the gut and can increase healthy bacteria in the intestines that aid digestion
Lemon Juice/Sliced Lemon
Fill remainder of container with water and ice and shake!
Optional: If the taste is too bitter or sour add stevia or a flavored water like Vitamin Water.
